Rockliffe's management team and board members have proven track records in building software businesses and delivering complex and innovative communication software products to the market.

John Davies, Chairman, Founder, President and CEO

John founded Rockliffe in Silicon Valley and has grown the company into a world-recognized leader in mobile communication software with subsidiaries in the UK and in Indonesia. Before founding Rockliffe, John spent many years in various management roles in Silicon Valley technology companies including ROLM, Rugged Digital and Cooperative Solutions. John graduated from the University of Manchester, UK, with double first class BSc and BEng degrees in Engineering and Business.

Igusti Manik VP Business Development

Igusti Manik Sugiyani is a serial entrepreneur. Manik started her first home business when she was 19 years old. After she graduated from university she worked at Triple A Communication in Jakarta and took over ownership within a year. Manik cofounded 3 companies in the USA before joining Rockliffe as VP Business Development in 2010. Manik has a BSc in Finance & Accounting and is one class away from a post baccalaureate/second BSc degree in MIS from San Jose State University.

Ben Cwilewicz, Rockliffe Europe LTD Managing Director

Ben joined Rockliffe as IT Manager after graduating with a first class BSc Computer Science degree from the University of Leeds.

Ben has served in many roles at Rockliffe including Product and Project Manager for both server and client development teams. He was promoted to the General Manager (Director) of Rockliffe Europe Limited in 2009.

Board Members

Mark Lawson, Investor
Mark has worked in the real estate sector for 22 years, including managing offices in some of London's premier real estate companies. Having started his first London real estate business at the age of 24 Mark went on to start several other property companies. A serial entrepreneur, having sold his last real estate business Mark is now concentrating on managing his investments and a property portfolio which includes various residential developments and commercial investments.

Bud Michael
Bud is an entrepreneur with a passion for mapping strategy with execution and delivering results by creating and leading exceptionally talented, performance driven teams. Having twice been CEO for early stage venture capital backed software companies raising over $20M in venture investment. He has expertise in marketing, sales and business development where he has consistently found and built new, high-growth markets resulting in dramatic growth in shareholder value.

Carsten Brinkshulte
Carsten is an experienced CEO/CTO/NED and pioneer in the world of telecoms who has founded and scaled mobile software companies from early-stage startups to international market leaders. He has accurately identified technology- and market trends and translated them into category-leading products. He has secured large contracts with international mobile operators and device manufacturers providing hosted messaging services in large-scale deployments. He is regarded as a technical and market visionary with an extensive network to decision makers in the telecom industry.
