More Information:

MailSite supports a special mailbox called MailboxTemplate which is designed to make it easier to create multiple mailboxes with certain default characteristics. It is important to understand that the MailboxTemplate is a powerful tool, and is the default for all mailboxes. Therefore changes to it may affect all mailboxes, not just ones created in the future.

The MailboxTemplate is automatically created and located in the default domain. All mailboxes properties that have not been explicitly set will inherit that property from the MailboxTemplate. Changing a property in the MailboxTemplate mailbox can also change that same property for all mailboxes for which that property has not been explicitly set.

It is envisaged that the MailboxTemplate will normally be set to appropriate defaults before most mailboxes are added. Changes should only be made to the MailboxTemplate with caution once there are existing mailboxes.
